The role - Founder's Commercial Associate
We’re looking for a commercially-minded, curious generalist to join our team as Founder’s Commercial Associate.
You’ll partner directly with the CEO to dream up and execute high-leverage plays that open doors and accelerate deals - curating C-suite dinners, landing thought-leadership spots, spinning customer wins into award-winning stories, and pressure-testing bold go-to-market experiments with our biggest target accounts.
This is an ideal role for someone who’s smart, organised, creatively commercial, and looking to carve out a future career path in growth, RevOps or business development or if you want to dive deep into the world of startups.
What you’ll do day to day
- Lead “bold-idea” GTM experiments: Work directly with the CEO and Head of Ops to test inventive go-to-market ideas - documenting the hypothesis, what you tried, and what we learned - so we find new levers that move the needle.
- Create & refresh customer case studies: Partner with the Head of Customer Success to spot success stories, interview champions, gather metrics, and work with the Growth Marketer to turn raw wins into polished one-pagers, Trumpet pages and short video or carousel snippets that sales can drop straight into deals.
- Spotlight Vitrue through awards: Research the most credible HR, wellbeing and safety award programmes, craft compelling submissions that showcase our customer results, and keep a simple tracker so we learn from every win or near-miss.
- Amplify the CEO’s voice: Proactively find speaking slots, podcast interviews and guest-article opportunities that put Shane - and Vitrue’s mission - on the map. You’ll gather the raw stories, draft outlines, and coordinate logistics; Shane will add the final polish.
- Keep our target-account universe razor-sharp: Build and maintain a living list of top-priority companies and contacts, blending ICP criteria with intent signals so sales outreach always starts with the best data.
- Run memorable outbound plays: Design and execute creative, high-touch campaigns - whether that’s a standout physical mailer, a hand-written note, or an intimate dinner event - that open doors and spark conversations with senior decision-makers.
- Equip the sales team to win: Partner with the Growth Marketer to refresh case studies, Trumpet pages, decks and mutual-action plan templates, gathering feedback from AEs so each asset gets sharper over time.
- Own pipeline hygiene & insights: Keep HubSpot clean and up to date, run regular pipeline checks, and surface commercial insights that help the founder and board see around corners.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re:
Commercially curious - you’ve got 1–3 years in sales ops, consulting, growth, or a fast-paced analyst role and you want to build broader commercial chops.
AI-savvy - you use AI platforms (e.g. chatgpt) to move faster: from summarising reports and crafting outreach to automating research and idea gen.
A data & detail person - you're comfortable in Google Sheets and enjoy tidying messy info into clear insights. (Bonus if you know HubSpot or Salesforce.)
A project juggler - you’re organised, dependable, and keep multiple projects on track.
A confident communicator - you can write clear, tight copy for awards, emails, and pitch decks without overthinking it.
Calm in chaos - ambiguity doesn’t scare you. You break problems down, ask smart questions, and get moving.
Nice to haves:
- Exposure to HR-tech or health-tech markets.
- Experience running virtual or in-person exec events.
- Previous startup experience or generalist background
Salary:
- £35-40k
